NDPES Permits
To Minnesota’s Mosquito Control Contacts:
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) intends to public notice the following Draft National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) / State Disposal System (SDS) Pesticide General Permits:
- Mosquitoes and Other Flying Insect Pests Control - MNG870000
- Forest Canopy Pests Control - MNG873000
- Aquatic Nuisance Animal Control - MNG874000
- Vegetative Pests and Algae Control - MNG876000
The MPCA will public notice the Pesticide General Permits in the State Register on January 18, 2011 and will post the public notice and draft documents on the MPCA Public Notices website. Documents will also be available on the Pesticide NPDES Permit Program website by the end of next week. A 30-day period will follow the State Register publication. This is your chance to review and comment on the draft permit. All comments are due February 17, 2011. Please submit comments as directed in the Public Notice.
